Start learning

1. Create a free account with an email address and password or with Google.
2. Pick the language you are learning and answer two short questions: your goal and how many minutes a day.
3. Today is your home screen: your plan for the day, your streak and your level line.

Lessons

1. Open the lesson list and press a lesson; it opens step by step.
2. Turn on Word meanings, then tap any word to see what it means. A tapped word is saved to My words.
3. The lesson menu holds Search this course, Start over and Report a problem.

Course map and level tests

1. The map shows every level, from Beginner (the alphabet) through A1 to C2.
2. Walk the practice steps of your level; where a lesson course exists, the lessons are steps too.
3. Pass the level test at the top of a level to confirm it and open the next one. A level above yours is a preview until then.

Reading: books and Make a text

1. Books open as a page-turning book, in parts. Your place is kept.
2. Make a text writes a text at the level, length, topic, format and mood you choose. One text costs one free use from the Learn pool.
3. In both, turn on Word meanings and tap words to save them.

Listening, Speaking and Writing

1. Listening: listening practice and dictation.
2. Speaking: read a sentence aloud and get scored word by word; the Speaking quiz lets you pick what to say. Allow the microphone when the browser asks.
3. Writing: paste or type anything you wrote and get feedback with your mistakes explained. The rewrite is counted per day: 3 free, 15 with a subscription.

Tools: Translator, Letter writer, AI instructions

1. Translator translates naturally and fixes your mistakes; choose an output level (Natural or A1–C2) and a tone.
2. Letter writer drafts formal letters, emails and cover letters with an adjustable tone.
3. AI instructions writes or improves an instruction for an AI chat or image tool, short and detailed, in the language you choose.

The free plan has 20 Tools uses a month across these tools and Writing. The counter is in the account menu.

Picture words, games and quizzes

1. Picture words: around 2,700 photographs on 37 shelves, each captioned and spoken in your language. Press Save to my words on any picture.
2. Practice is the hub for Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Games and quizzes: Topics, Spell my words and Picture spelling.
3. Lexi, the mascot at the bottom right, is also your AI conversation partner: open it and chat in your language.

My words and Progress

1. My words keeps every word you tapped or saved, with spaced repetition and eight quiz styles.
2. Progress shows your skills radar, a forecast and what to practise next.
3. Your streak counts the days in a row with any graded activity; you earn a streak freeze for every 7 days and can hold 2. A weekly recap is on Me, with an optional Monday email; an optional daily reminder (off by default, at the hour you choose) is under Settings → Daily reminder.

Settings and account

1. Settings holds Colours (day and night), Language of the app, Text size, Voice and speed, Sound, What moves my level and Daily reminder. Your choices follow your account across devices.
2. Under Account: your plan and Manage subscription, My data (download everything as JSON or as a page) and Delete my account.
3. Forgot your password? Press Forgot password? on the log-in page.
